Licenciado em Canto Jazz pela ESMAE (Porto), o seu background musical é marcado pela passagem por Barcelona, onde estuda na “Taller de Muzics”, e Berlim, onde frequenta o “Jazz Institute of Berlin”.
Para além do seu álbum de originais, “Traces of Cities”, salientam-se as colaborações com Sofia Ribeiro no álbum “Porto”, com Claus Nymark e Pedro Moreira através da Orquestra Angrajazz, com Judy Niemack no seu “Chillida Project”, e com os “Canto Nono”, dirigido por José Mário Branco.
With a degree in Vocal Jazz from ESMAE (Porto), Linhares’s background is also enriched by studying in Barcelona, in “Taller de Muzics”, and in Berlin, where he attends the “Jazz Institute of Berlin”.
