Foi fundado em Abril de 2012 por Luís Henriques, no âmbito das actividades litúrgico-musicais na Sé de Angra. Dedica-se à interpretação de polifonia vocal sacra portuguesa dos séculos XVI e XVII em contexto litúrgico, mas também de concerto. Participou no festival Música Ibérica Séculos XVI e XVII e manteve uma actividade regular até 2014, destacando-se a cerimónia de imposição de novos cavaleiros da Ordem de Malta em Dezembro de 2013. Was founded by Luís Henriques in April 2012, in the liturgical-musical activities at Angra Cathedral. It is dedicated to the performance of Portuguese 16th and 17th-century sacred vocal polyphony in a liturgical context, but also in concert. Participated in the Festival Iberian Music 16th and 17th Centuries, maintaining a regular activity untill 2014, notably the cerimony of imposition of new knight of the Order of Malta, December 2013.
